2010 Cabernet Sauvignon – Rating 94

Juicy dark plums, chocolate, new leather and cloves are all wrapped together in the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that stands out for its juicy, extroverted personality. Another wine that is absolutely singing right now, the 2010 is all about richness and seduction. Anticipated maturity 2015-2025

2009 Cabernet Sauvignon --Rating 94

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful wine. Floral notes are woven nicely throughout a core of explosive dark red fruit. Mint, spices and sweet tobacco wrap around the silky, floral-infused finish. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.

2008 Cabernet Sauvignon--Rating 91

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon emerges from the glass with dark plums, cherries, tobacco, flowers and mint. It shows lovely textural depth and sweetness through to the enveloping, layered finish. The 2008 was aged in 85% new oak barrels.. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2023.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Stone--Rating 95+

Perhaps the best wine I have ever tasted from Crocker & Starr is the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Stone Place. One hundred percent Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in French oak, this 500- to 550-case cuvee from the organically managed Stone Place Vineyard is a dense ruby/purple color, with a classic nose of unsmoked cigar tobacco intermixed with blackberries, licorice, subtle barbecue smoke, and cassis. A gorgeous, full-bodied texture, excellent purity, and well-integrated acidity, wood, and tannin all make for a thrilling wine to drink over the next 15-20+ years.
