2012 Cabernet Sauvignon 'Stone Place' 1.5L

Our 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from block 3, the oldest plantings on the Crocker Estate. The 40+ year old vines bear small, concentrated berries and create a wine with richness and finesse.  We harvest our old vine block several times creating small lot fermentations.  The 2012 ‘Stone Place’ deep ruby core leads to a brighter, garnet edge.  The complex nose showcases aromas of cocoa, black cherry, coffee bean, lavender, and vanilla spice.  Flavors of black plum and huckleberry preserves, expand on the palate with ripe berry and dark chocolate lingering on the wine’s silky finish.  Winemaker Pam Starr’s expression of this exceptional vintage blends power, balance and elegance which are the legacy of the Crocker Estate.
