Carnivus History

2010

Our very first Carnivus celebrated our Friends and Family in a small intimate setting. What better way to say 'Thank You' than a 10-year vertical tasting in the historic 1918 Farmhouse and a roasted 'blessed' pig under the Stonehouse Arbor sharing stories of Crocker & Starr?

2011

With Crocker & Starr's growing family and friends we held our second Carnivus, this time we had 120 guests! We stayed true to our new tradition and held a vertical tasting, roasted pig and made new friends.

2012

The first Party like a #rockstarr had begun! Food from local purveyors such as Zuzu with Paella, Hog Island Oysters paired wonderfully with our Sauvignon Blanc and of course the pig, brought to us by Smoke. You can't have Carnivus without the live band to get you dancing, and The Cajun Coyotes made it happen

2013

Growing in popularity, of course our tent had to get larger. We had cabanas and Cornhole tournament. It's not a party without games to compete with our fellow family members!

2014

The growth of Carnivus for the past 3 years was felt – this was the must-go event of the year. Food, games, dancing and plenty of wines pouring made it a great one!

2015

The year we added MAXIMUS to Carnivus, solidifying its place into the history books. Library wines pouring as we danced away the day with Sow Belly Trio.

2016

Our 20th Anniversary was the party to be at! With over 37 wines flowing, and Sow Belly Trio playing great hits to dance to, this event was SPECTACULAR!

2017

Our 21st Anniversary and Second year in our estate winery. Thank you all for joining the fun, the games, the food, the even vintages of our library and for celebrating with style.

2018

Crocker & Starr's 22nd anniversary and third year in our winery! We poured 'odd' vintages including our brand-new 2015 1 Post Cabernet Sauvignon.

2019

Our 23rd year as Crocker & Starr Winery. This year we switched things up and hosted the event inside the winery and on the crush pad!
