Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon heritage clones from Block 1 and Block 2, the deep ruby-purple ‘1 Post’ Cabernet Sauvignon has a beautiful nose of dark chocolate, sweet pipe tobacco, wild blackberry and black cherry, plus wafts of dried rose, kirsch, and graphite. The full-bodied palate offers a plush and seamless transition from the first sip to the lingering finish. Rich, chocolatey tannins play harmoniously with bold yet refined layers of savory spices, Madagascar vanilla, boysenberry, blueberry and hints of star anise spice. The balance of acid, tannin, and beautiful fruit make 1 Post cellar worthy. Decanting suggested.
